any Jeff State Fall 2011 hopefuls out there??

I am taking the TEAS V Wednesday, so then I will know how many points I have!!! :)

Oh no they havent called I called her and she said I didn't make rn but I was on the lpn list. No one has called me yet gah I hope she is right and I think of they changes your major online ur in.

Congradulations on ur acceptance! Which JSCC Campus did u get accepted too? And You dont mind me asking do you know how they calculate the scores to get in. Like which course do they look at. Thanks!!

I hope so. The number I called was 856-6023. I wonder if I should try another number. I just wish I would know either way. :eek:

So....I called and got (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME).....and she didn't give me an answer either. She kinda sounded irritated that I was calling. Wont do that again....LOL! Oh well.....I will just sit and wait, I have waited this long.

to humbly me: the score calculation is located on jeff state's website under the nursing program. They take 3 sciences and a math, as well as your teas score. they give you a certain amount of points for each class. A=30 B=20 C=10.. and the math has to be at least Math 100... If you make an A in Math 100 then you get 11 points and so forth.. If you don't have 3 sciences then you can sub in another Math for one of the sciences..

i signed up for the CPR class this Saturday at hOOVER FIRE DEPARTMENT.. I REMEMBER SOMEONE ELSE SAYING THEY SIGNED UP BUT CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME.... ARE THERE OTHERS THAT SIGNED UP? IF SO, DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THE COST FOR INDIVIDUALS RESIDING OUTSIDE OF sHELBY COUNTY? THANKS.

@teejazzy2 ok thanks. That helped me understand better. Im a pre-nursing student at JSCC and I want to know what do I need to set my standards so I can get in!! Thanks tons. And did u get accepted by the way?

Hey teejazzy2 My daughter and I are both signed up to take the class. It is $20 if you do not live in Hoover. I still have not received a call but I looked on pipeline and my major has changed but I am still waiting on the call!!!!
