Jeff State Fall 2010 hopefuls...

I will go ahead and start this post for people applying to Jeff State Nursing Program Fall 2010. I know there are people out there with questions...I know I have a ton myself...I guess we can start with the amounts of points people are applying with with what classes??This should give us an idea of maybe where the cutoff will be...it was like 186 for Summer 2010!

The background screen is paid for in class and conducted right before clinicals...it is done throug verified credentials....they are required to get it back in 5 days so you can attend clinicals. The ABON is regulations I believe. Check your forms you got to sign for orientation and see if the one you have to initial a bunch has something about agreeing to the ABON regulations. Dosage calculation packet is a packet of 48 dosage calculation math problems for us to practice, and it was given out at orientation. I don't think they grade it.

i am in the night and weekend and we didn't have a dosage calculation pockage in our folder and i think we signed everything in orientation i believe....

to all of you in 1st semester do not buy the online stuff they try to sell you. YOu will only use these books for this semester and after that you will buy books that take you through the rest of the program and also check out half.com from ebay.

I just checked my jeff state email and it says that the courses won't be available on blackboard until 12:01 Thursday morning.

I am at the Shelby campus in the part time program. Don't let the "part time" wording fool you....it is WORK! But I don't mind because I really like what I am learning. I feel for you, it was just a few short months ago I was in your position biting my nails waiting for word on my application. That was a long and terrible wait!
