Thank you Silver, I had noticed someone else got in the nights and weekends with a 184. So, I was unsure when I seen your 190 for nights and weekends; however, I also seen where this person could possibly go to the day program with those points. Also, I seen where another got in with a 190 to the part-time program. I, on the other hand, only applied to the full-time program - which was probably not too smart on my end. When I talked to an advisor before the deadline, she told me I would get in with a 191; however, I've heard from another administer that they went up a good bit for the cutoff, but I wasn't given a number. I called and left messages yesterday at both campuses and sent out an e-mail to a couple. Hopefully, I will hear something soon. I have checked my mail like a crazy person since May and now I hear they are calling people. The only ones I have read that got into the day program so far are all like 200's. SCARY!!! Anyways, just really anxious to hear something.

Dana to be honest I'm not sure if the 184 cutoff was just for part time or both. I was so ecstatic that I got in that I didn't even ask but I'm sure we can find out I have class tomorrow morning so I can definitely ask an advisor. I would kinda like to know that answer myself.

Yea when I talked to the director of nursing at the main campus she said it wasn't much different than the cutoff had been in the past. You'll get your call.

Thanks to you both, MissApril and bthomas6. I greatly appreciate it, as you can see the anxiety of waiting and waiting... is killing me. I will post when I hear something and MissApril, I would love to know myself; so, thanks for asking.

I know about the anxiety....I was feeling the stress bad on Thursday. That is why I decided I would rather call so I could stop stressing. I figured either way it would be a relief to at least know so I could plan for the next step. I know it doesn't help, but if I am in with a 190 I see no reason why you wouldn't be in with a 191. But it sure feels better hearing it from the school rather than me. LOL. I bet you hear from them Monday. Who knows where I was on the call list or when my call would have come if I hadn't called them first. Hope they call first thing in the morning so you can post good news!! :)

I looked at the alabama board of nursing website and Jeff State is not listed as on probation. Congratulations to all the students who were accepted this fall to the nursing program. I wish you all much luck and success.

It is comfortable to know that I am probably not entering a program that is at jeopardy of losing their accreditation. What to do next guys? Talk about what stethoscopes and shoes are the best to buy?haha

OK........so you were all right when you said be patient! I called yesterday to seek info since I hadn't gotten a phone call and I was stressing. I had to leave a message and I am happy to report I got a return call this morning with most excellent news!! I AM IN! I will be in the part time program this fall at the Shelby campus. I am SUPER excited....and relieved. LOL. Who else is in the night and weekend program?

Woohoo 2 loves!! That makes you, me and MissApril in the night/weekend program at the shelby campus. Now we have to figure out how we will know one another at orientation. :)
