Jeff State Fall 2010 hopefuls...

I will go ahead and start this post for people applying to Jeff State Nursing Program Fall 2010. I know there are people out there with questions...I know I have a ton myself...I guess we can start with the amounts of points people are applying with with what classes??This should give us an idea of maybe where the cutoff will be...it was like 186 for Summer 2010!

Thanks so much for the words of encouragment:) I have been working really hard and so far I have an A in Micro...hopefully (with some help from above) I can keep it up until August!!!

Hello everyone, I've been reading all your post today and contgrats to all who have already found out that they got in.. WOOT, WOOT!! Does anyone know what the cutoff for the day program is going to be? I applied to Shelby as my first choice with 191 points, 3.91 gpa and I am a member of PTK - not that any of that matters apart from points. I have yet to receive a phone call and now I am nervous as ever. I emailed the nursing department today, so maybe I'll hear something soon. Wish me luck and keep me in your prayers all my hopefully soon to be class mates...

Dana I believe that once the cutoff points are established it's for the entire program and I had 190 and I am in. I listed my preference as the night/weekend program but that doesn't matter. I think it is taking them a long time to get their calls made. I had lost hope by Thursday evening so I called and left a message. They returned my call Friday morning and told me then I was accepted. If you are on pins and needles it wont hurt to call them. Good luck to you!!
