YES!!!! The wait is killing me. I emailed ****** the other day and she said it would be middle to end of JULY before we heard anything.

Did they say why the wait is so much longer than it normally is? I thought that for Fall they usually find out the first week of July?????????? That doesn't give very much time to get things ready does it?

I am waiting to hear for fall 09 as well...has anyone heard what the cut-off is for the ranking score? And how many people they are taking for the RN program?

I am waiting on word also. Nobody up there will talk to you about it. I should have a 159 on the points system. It will be a long wait. I check the mail every day to be sure. I am from P-cola

Just to let everyone waiting on letters know...I called the nursing dept. today and asked if they could tell me anything about nursing letters. The lady told me that the list should be to Ms. ***** (I think she's like one of the main nursing people) by today or tomorrow and that letters should go out the end of THIS WEEK! She said we should probably be receiving them by early next week. I don't know how much faith to put into this, but she said it should be any day now. Apparently the decisions have been made and the lists have been made as well. Good Luck everyone!

I really hope that the person that told you that was right because I am not sure how much longer I can patiently wait. I'm tired of trying to plan everything for if I do...or dont....get in. It will be great to finally know for sure. Hopefully we are all on our way to becoming nurses!!! Good Luck!!! :nurse:

I talked to ******* @ the Shelby campus & she said that it will probably be July before they send out letters b/c they are still waiting for approval?!?!? So, I am not sure when to expect to find out. I guess we will still have to anxiously wait.

I am anxiously waiting too:bugeyes: I am not very patient ! Does anybody have an idea when classes might start? Do we have an orientation or something? Does anyone happen to know what the cost of the first semester is? I am just curious because I would like to start getting things I need instead of spending a bundle in one week....Good luck to you all!!! Please post as soon as you know something.....

One more thing....do they send out rejection letters too?

They will send out letters to all who are accepted and rejected. I think that classes start around August 20, but early registration is around the middle of July and there will be an orientation but I am not sure exactly when that will be. I am also not sure of what it will cost b/c I have applied for the part time program and for the fall there are only 2 nursing courses and no clinicals....but it is different for the full time program. I hope this information helps you. I know that last year for the fall that acceptance letters went out the first week of July so that is what I am hoping for. Are you already CPR certified? Do you know a place where I can get my certification?
