January CEP applicants?

Hi fellow students! I am applying to the CEP program for the Summer 2016 start (NAU)- I know the deadline is coming up January 30... just wondering who else is applying/has applied, and how you're feeling? Excited to start? Nervous you won't get accepted (like ME!)? Just wanted to say "hi" and get connected! :yes:

That's ok :) There have been so many posts I can't keep them straight! I have been checking my e-mail every 1/2 hr. I don't know if it just me, but I have to have my CPE acceptance physically written down. Then I know that everything is going to be fine. I kept everything from my first BS, because you never know. How exciting for you (ASU/GWCC)! Are you doing GWCC Traditional/evenings/accelerated?

I have no idea yet. I haven't heard from GWCC just someone from ASU who sent that email and I think I read another person on the forum received that same email so I'm not sure if it means we got placed at ASU or if it's a reminder for students to check by Monday! ASU wasn't my first choice NAU was.

im with you. On feb 2nd my advisor told me I was accepted to nau and just waiting to be placed. Since then I haven't heard anything and I have no idea what's going on. I feel like I slipped through the cracks somewhere. This wait is brutal. Yesterday my advisor told me I would hear something yesterday or today and today's almost over sooo??? Ugh

I got the email from ASU too but I also heard from my advisor from NAU too. Maybe NAU just notified our advisors and didn't send those out like ASU

What did you put down on your CEP application? I heard from all over that NAU is really competitive to get into this year (like always). UIU was not my first choice either, NAU was.

I don't think you have slipped through the cracks. Hang in there :) I had one of the higher GPA's/ HESI scores plus a BS in Business from NAU. I got third choice of schools and second choice of universities. Hey I'm not complaining though. At least I got placed :) I just feel bad for the people still waiting!

I put NAU as my first ASU as second and believe university of Phoenix as my third. For the RN program I had GWCC traditional as my first choice and then I think evenings for my second third choice was mcc I believe. I filled up all options though I think you were able to put your top 5 for the RN program right? It's a bummer that website is down to look at it. And I've had no luck with getting in contact with my advisor. Today GWCC advisement was closed from what my advisors voicemail said.

Yeah, I know you were able to online. I haven't looked since Dec. honestly. 1st was NAU, 2nd was UIU, and third was GCU. RN program I put EMCC, GCC traditional, GWCC Traditional. I have called twice in the past week and e-mailed one of the GWCC advisors'. I don't know what's going on over at GWCC. I know they are really busy, but come on people. Sorry, that is just me venting :)

I applied to NAU through EMCC and GWCC as second choice. Has anyone received letters from them? And do you guys know if they send out denial letters? Getting so incredibly nervous I could puke.

My stats are: 98 average on HESI and a BS in biology from NAU. Not sure of my prereq GPA- I haven't tried to calculate it but I know it's not bad (not perfect either lol)

Congrats to everyone!! I'll bet the rest will be following soon enough. :) And so do I, arc1. The Maricopa Nursing FB page mentioned in an earlier post made me think of starting one for our specific cohort. What do you think?

So, there is a GCC/Weekend Facebook group already. I messaged the admin and asked if it was for a specific class, or if they just wanted all startdates in their group. Do you want to join that one, or create our own? I'm torn - because other students that have already BTDT would be a great help, but at the same time, sometimes it is nice to just go through things with the people you know in person, etc. What do you think?

If it makes anyone feel better I turned in my App in December for summer NAU CEP start and haven't heard anything yet! I have a 3.5 GPA and 92% overall Hesi Score.. I did speak to my advisor and she told me I'd hear by Next week so lets not loose hope! LOL :cautious:
