Welcome.... This is a thread created for January 2014 Broward College students and others who are interested in there ADN program. We all have so many questions and concerns about the program.
We are 7-8 months away from sitting in the first class of the January 2014 nursing program. What have you been doing to prepare for this? What pre-req's do you have left to take? What inspired you to become a nurse? Is BC your first school of chose? Are there any other programs your interested in?
Don't be shy. Don't lurk. Share your thoughts.
So I emailed another lady in the nursing department and she told me they just started reviewing applications and are checking with the department to see which waivers have been approved so they can move those people to a different status. So that makes me feel a little better lol. I've been reading a book called "how to survive and possibly even love nursing school" which has given me some great insight. How about you guys?

Im going to north campus. I also gave my core class cert along with my CEU's today from Sheridan Tech. The rep said it would say "in review" but when I got home and checked it, it said "pre admission". Now I guess I'm waiting on an email? Im so new to this process. I sure don't know what to expect. Will I pick my professors or do they? Is there a site I should goto? I'm very excited and scared at the same time. WOW this is crazy. She also said that there haven't been a lot of applications this semester.
Thank you all for your help. I'm praying that your statuses will change asap.
