2012 January Aria students?

Published

Hi. Anyone apply for Aria SON? for January 2012 start?:)

Has anyone been accepted or got any updates??

I really hope I don't have to wait until October for a response...I going crazy wondering!

Nope, nothing yet. Waiting impatiently !! I think I'm starting to get gray hair from this wait lol

you & me both...lol

do you know how many applicants there are?

I read on this site that for January start they had 400 people ... But you know, can't always believe what you read on the Internet.

Celeste27,

I wonder if it's 3-4 weeks from sept 7th ( when u had your interview) or 3-4 weeks from an individual's interview. I had my interview August 29, today marks 3 weeks. Looks like I should be getting my letter around or right after my Oct 2nd birthday... I really hope that letter will have good news for me. That would be the BEST birthday present!

--- hm, never thought of it that way. I do remember though that she said she pull my app to put into the review bin for the committee to review.. said they'd be reviewing those next week. Not sure how many bins had come before but it sure was stuffed with applications.

Hi Jwow welcome to the two week wait forum...lol..I don't think any of you can come close to how nervous I am..I'm so excited and can't wait to hear good news.

Like Celeste I was a Temple student, I completed all my pre requisites and unfortunately missed the deadline for TUs nursing school. I applied to villanova but then realized they were extremely expensive. After my third year I spoke to a counselor who introduced me to health information management I decided to pursue a degree in HIM and attend nursing school the first chance I received. I graduated in May but I was also planning my may wedding so going back this fall semester was out of the Question. All my life I've wanted to be a Nurse. I'm really exciting and leaning on God for this one. Aria has also been my school of choice since 12th grade and that was 5 years ago..I'm def excited bat starting and pray that all goes well.

Hello again everyone! I too am a former Temple student... graduated in Spring 2009 with an Anthropology degree. Wouldn't it be too funny if some of us already new each other? (Temple is HUGE, however we could have had some basic courses together...) Ive completed my prerequisites both at Temple and Montgomery County averaging at about a 3.1 GPA. My TEAS score was an 83.3%, which ranked me into the 95th percentile.. I know that you all seem to have heard this before, but it seems as though admissions will absolutely NOT be designating specific TIERS; as Im sure you've all been told, admissions has eliminated that part of the process. AHHHHHH THE WAITING GAME!!!!!

@celeste27--- I'm just now realizing that you said you took your TEAS last year... I also had to take them last December for Abington Hospital// Dixons Nursing program... however, admissions at Aria made me take them again bc I had taken version 4.0 and they needed me to take 5.0 ? I'm wondering if those scores are from a 4 or 5 version of the TEAS?

Goodmorning, my fellow Aria classmates (I'm claiming this!)... I've applied and although I have not recieved my official acceptance - I have to think positive or else I will drive myself crazy ;) with worry. I actually have completed all of my pre-reqs at CCP, I still have to take the PC applications class to recieve my Associate's. I have been so nervous about this whole process because I want to become a nurse so badly. I like Aria's program because they have an extremely high pass rate - so I know they are truly teaching their students. Currently, I have the option of staying home for the first time in my adult life and focus on school. It's my time to SHINE! I hope that we all get a chance to "make it reality"...putting positivity in the *air*.

Making it a reality I love how you sound!!! I'm claiming my acceptance into Aria with you :)..We must speak it into existence!! I cant wait to purchase my uniform and stethescope for class :)

Haha you guys are funny.! I'm with you on claiming my acceptance!
