I applied for the Spring 2012 admission! I'm so nervous. I'm taking the teas at the end of this month. When dod you apply. What is your advice for the teas, Any help will be greatly appreciated :)..God Bless!

Congratulations on your decision to pursue nursing.

I was originally accepted for fall 2011, but had to push back my start date until January 2012.

The teas test is kinda iffy. You cannot really study for the science part. There was a lot of things on there I didn't even remember learning in CCP. Know your basic math and algebra. Also review your grammar rules and capitalization/punctuation. Dont stress about it. If you are a good student you should do fine.

Spring 2012? Is that January at Aria? They keep referring to it as Winter 2012 for me to start. Just curious.

Where did you take your prerequisite courses? I went to Community College of Philadelphia. I'm done in December. Do you live in the area of Aria? I live in Bridesburg.

Nursing has always been my dream but I didnt have the strongest academic grades to prove it. Im so conditioned to semesters being either fall, spring or summer I probably am wrong. It could indeed be Winter 2012. But they are still the same.

I took all of the required courses at Temple 2 years ago

I do live in the area. about 10 minutes from the school :)

I applied for January 2012 as well! Does anyone know what "Disclosure Statement" refers to on the online Application Checklist? It says that they haven't received mine, but I'm not sure exactly what it is anyway.. :confused:

Hi.

I'm not really sure what the disclosure statement is. It might be the paper you have to sign for Aria to get information from other sources about you. ??? Just a guess. I can't remember what I signed or didn't sign at this point because I was supposed to start in September but had to delay.

I'm really excited but at the same time, nervous about nursing school. I'm an older student. So, I feel pretty intimidated. But I guess I'll be ok. From what I'm reading on these posts I'm not the only older person going back to school. :)

i cant remember what the disclosure statement is anymore. but dont worry, they will probably send u something to sign and youll know thats it when u see it.

momof6...theres plenty of older people in the school, male and female. I'd say most in my class though are in their early twenties. ill b 27 in 3 weeks

Thanks guys, I'll find out eventually then. Yeah, you have nothing to worry about momofsix. I've had classes at my college where there was a wide age range, and it was the same when I went to CNA school -- no one really looks at the age differences when you're all students working towards the same goal. :) I'm soo anxious to get into Aria. Hopefully I'll be with you guys there this January!!

Hi did anyone receive an acceptance letter. If yes, then what how did you go about the background checks that we have to perform on the certifiedbackground website.

Do they offer Fall classes as well? I was hoping to apply for a program for fall of 2012 but it seems most of the deadlines are already almost up for them. Does anyone know the deadline to apply by?
