Discharge Planning begins with the Admissions Process. A Common Situation with Patients Admitted to Psych is that Many Patients believe they may Discharge Themselves at Any Time.

We could Fill a Book with Stories of the Number of Times Patients said things like "I can sign myself out any time I want!"

Or: "I'm calling my Lawyer! I'm going to sue this hospital!"
