Hi all! I'm new to the site, and the forums. I'm a nationally registered paramedic, and I'm very interested in becoming an RN. I've been looking around online, researching some of the various Paramedic-to-RN programs offered. I live in Winchester, VA, and we don't have one close to me, but there is one that seems to be mostly online -- at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond. Has anyone heard anything (or have experience with) this P to RN program, or with the school's nursing program in general? (I figure they're comparable to NOVA, where I went for paramedic.) From what I've read, it seems like the clinicals don't have to be done in Richmond, but can be done in certain locations around Northern VA.
Anyone have any info? I've written to the head of the program, but she's on vacation until the 16th, so I figured I'd see what I could find out beforehand. :) Thanks!
