I just took my TEAS test today. I received a 91.3% overall with a 90.5% in reading, 90% in math, 83.3% in science, and 56.7% in English and Language usage (I hate grammar). I am in the advanced level... I have all A's and one B so I figured my score to be 159.79. I applied to the ASN and LN programs at all the campuses within an hour of my house. (Indy, Columbus, Bloomington, Kokomo, Anderson, Muncie, New Castle, Greencastle, and I may be missing one...) Anyone know my chances of being accepted.

How did you get a 91 overall? Do you mean 71? I scored a 78 on mine and have all A's in the prereqs. I think my score is a 168. I applied to the ASN program in Anderson and am hoping to get in. I only applied to one region because I can't drive far. I hate having to wait until the end of May though. It's driving me nuts waiting.
I meant an 81.3% overall, my mistake.

It seems that the scores of applicants, compared to the past years, have been lower on average from what I've read from other applicants' posts. I heard one of the campuses, South Bend, had a cutoff of 150 last semester for the ASN program. Don't lose hope! You still might have a chance :) I'm waiting to hear back from the South Bend campus, I think I applied with a 157. I got a B in APHY 101 and 102 because I transferred my credits from Purdue :/ Oh well, I wish you luck and hope you get accepted!

I have noticed as well, that the last few semesters, the scores haven't been as competitive. It could change, but don't lose hope and don't give up. If this is your dream, trust me, you will kick yourself if you put it off. I have been out of school for 12 years and thought about being a nurse all the time. Here I am, three kids later and a good job, but I still dream of becoming a nurse. I love taking care of people and love the hospital atmosphere. It's definitely a challenge coming back now, but it is definitely worth it! :)
I got into the PN program in Indy originally but they called me last Monday and offered me a spot in the ASN program
I'm in the ASN program in Muncie!!!
