Ivy Tech Fall 2019 Hopefuls

I don't believe there is a board already started. I am ready to take my TEAS test in January and apply for the Fall 2019 nursing program. I just wanted to make a board so we can all keep each other up to date. I am only able to apply at my main campus in Lafayette, IN in the Fall so I decided to wait. I hope this is a place we can offer each other support and share our scores before we wait for the news! Good luck everyone and study hard!

Okay so I clarified they DO NOT attend Summer session. So it’s still 3 semesters but with a break in the middle ☺️

Hi I have a question! So I applied for the ASN program with PN consideration, so say I applied to campus that only had asn for fall and PN started in the spring . Would they offer me a spot for the PN program that starts in the spring since ASN for fall is full or would I have to wait until the next application round and apply for that PN program only?

No each application cycle for fall and spring is separate u would have to reapply to the pn program in the spring they cant offer admissions for next season in the current one.

So if I haven’t heard anything from the schools does it mean I probably didn’t get in any of the programs?

I haven't heard anything either. We will know for sure by June 8th so there is still a couple of days. You never know.

Me too. I know they're not selecting anymore until Saturday, but every time my email goes off, I'm checking all of them. I'm seriously praying i get in. My grades were good. I busted my rear to get all my prereqs in in one semester while working full time and taking care of 3 kids. I got all As and one B. My only downfall is I was so busy with finals of my prereqs, that I didn't get a chance to study for the TEAS. So I did it all based on what I already knew in hopes it would be enough. I had 2 finals and my TEAS test the same day lol

So it says we will know if we got in or not by June 8th. I understand that the first 3 rounds are automated but one is manual... I’m not sure how that works? Are they handpicking people now and sending out one more automated invite?

They do the 3 computer rounds first, one each Saturday and then the hand picked one the following Saturday

That wouldn't be because the 3rd round is this Saturday the 8th and it says we will know for sure if we got in or not by the 8th. It's confusing.

Oh okay! The email said we’d know if we got in or not by the 8th, so I was just wondering how that worked. Thank you!
