I just found this site and was wondering how many of you are applying to Ivy Tech Columbus for the ASN program THIS fall. I just turned in my app last month. I've gotten all A's in my pre-reqs (still taking APHY 102 currently) and only received one B in a co-req (Math 118). I got an 87.6 on the TEAS and I get the 3 points for the region. So as long as I get an an A in APHY 102 my total score is a 210. After this semester I will only have 1 c-req left to take and that's Microbiology or Advanced Physiology. I chose to take Micro this summer to get it out of the way. How is everyone else doing? :) I'm DYING as I wait for my letter and they won't be mailed until the end of May at the earliest.

I think (although I could be wrong) that Ivy Tech rounds up the TEAS scores, meaning you actually will have 211 points. That's a great score, and I'm sure you'll get in! Can someone confirm or deny this?

Ok? So are you a student or an RN? Because you sure sound as if you know who will get in and who will not. Explain yourself, please.
Okay, here's what it says in our applications booklet. I don't know if it's different from region to region.
(9) The individual sections scores and "composite score" will be rounded using standard rounding practices (.1-.4 rounded down and .5-.9 rounded up).
Explain myself? I'm a student that's been at Ivy Tech for 2 years now. Its not hard to figure out the average score that is expected for the ASN/LPN program. Most of us on here know what to shoot for and what we need to work on to increase our score. The information is readily available to students...
I just checked it DOES say that in my booklet too. Yay! 211 is even better. :)
Good for you! I need to dig around for my handbook although I am sure there is a copy online somewhere...

I applied for Columbus for the fall. I have a 214 with the 3 region points. I know most schools send the letters out at the end of May or beggining of June. Last year , Columbus was pretty late getting them out, but I hope that won't be the case this year:)

I just received my letter and did not get selected for Fall2010. My score should be 206. But they are not disclosing either my official score or cut off score. does any one know what is the cut off score for fall 2010 at columbus??
It doesn't say on my letter what the score cut-off was. I had a 211 and I got in, but a friend of mine with a 204 did not.

This could be the last class for Columbus for a year. They are not accepting students for a spring start. Link below
