I know that this forum sees literally 100's of these posts, but I can't help but announce it to all of you.... IT'S OFFICIAL!!! I got my acceptance letter today and I could not be more excited! I have to make it through the next 3 months, and I am grateful to have one class to complete over the summer to keep me occupied (A&P2).
I am also very grateful to have allnurses to come to for support, advice and to blow off steam! I encourage all of us who are starting school Fall 2012 to support each other as we begin this fantastic journey!
PS: I got accepted into a highly competitive ADN program.
Nursing is totally different, can't be compare to A&P, it's a lot of critical thinking eg you walked into the patient's room and the patient is not breathing or the patient is short of breath (SOB)what's the 1st thing you as the nurse should do?
