It's Official

I know that this forum sees literally 100's of these posts, but I can't help but announce it to all of you.... IT'S OFFICIAL!!! I got my acceptance letter today and I could not be more excited! I have to make it through the next 3 months, and I am grateful to have one class to complete over the summer to keep me occupied (A&P2).

I am also very grateful to have allnurses to come to for support, advice and to blow off steam! I encourage all of us who are starting school Fall 2012 to support each other as we begin this fantastic journey!

PS: I got accepted into a highly competitive ADN program.

Congrats! I got my BSN acceptance a month ago & it's still exciting for me! :)

Congratulations! I'll be starting in the Fall with you! Opening that letter was one of the best feelings I've ever had!!!

I know only what I read on the online Nursing Student Handbook. I will know more after orientation which is in Aug. However, that being said, I would love to have online study buddy friends!

Congratulations OKnurse2be. What an adventure you have ahead of you! Try to make the most of every day of that adventure.

Thank you! I will be honest and say I am excited and scared out of my wits too! I have been doing pre-reqs up until now and I know that nursing classes are a horse of a totally different color. :)

I am terrified! I just finished A&P2, and worked really hard in that class. I told myself if I couldn't get an A in something as easy as anatomy and physiology, how would I do in Nursing?!

I got an A in that class =]

Hopefully we can push ourselves to do well in NS!

Congrats! I am in for fall too and I can't wait to start! I am also scared. Scared I won't be able to hack it. I have a family and a husband who travels a lot for work. I worry about neglecting my kids, so I can study! Trying to balance it all...I'm glad I have the summer to get myself prepared and relax a bit! I did full time summer school so I've been in a solid year.

Congrats. Here waiting for fall to start also. (MSN-FNP) program.
