I just got my acceptance letter to the Lansing Community College 3 year (part-time) ADN Program! I am so excited I have been squealing to everyone who will listen. I am so happy to not just be a lurker anymore. I can not post on the forum as a nursing student! OH my goodness I am just so happy. I have had nightmares about not getting my letter and I am so glad it has finally came!

OK I am getting off of my high horse now but I want to hear from anyone else who has gotten accepted! I am so proud of all and to anyone who does not get accepted yet.... DO NOT give up! You will get there if you are passionate about it. Keep your head up and keep trying! You will see your dream!

Congratulations. You deverve the happiness. I cannot wait to become a nursing student myself. Hopefully, by next year, I will be able to post that I am a nursing student. Good luck with nursing school.

Hey! Congrats on being accepted. Im in Lansing as well but Im at MSU, but not in their nursing program. I got accepted to 2 schools in OH and 1 in FL. I start this fall too and am super excited. I dont know which school to attend yet, its between the one in Toledo and the one in Cincinnati, but I think Im going to send my deposit in for the school in Cincinnati. The deposit is due next friday so I need to make my decision soon.

Kristou - some day soon you will be able to feel the ellation that I feel and you will be able to post as a student nurse just keep at it. Do not give up no matter what. Lord knows I have had my reasons. And please feel free to post even before you are a student nurse even if only to give others congratulations as you have to me. Thank you for that ;)

starmickey - congrats on getting into two different schools. That is a bridge crossed just in itself. I wish you the best of luck in your program.

I got my letter last week. I was so tickled. I still can't believe it. I too got in at a 2 yr school. But thats good enough for me.

Congrats guys! I got my letter yesterday and was just as happy as crystal08! I almost cried of joy. I wanted this so bad. Now the wait is on for August :uhoh3:

Yep, I start in August! Eeeeeek! :yeah: How do you plan on spending the next 4 months in order to make them fly by? :uhoh3: I think I might go crazy.

By the way, I totally get the feeling of not having to be a lurker anymore and actually getting the privilege of posting as an actual student (even we haven't started yet) :D I even already added the school to my facebook in my education :bugeyes:

Congratualtions! I, too, have been accepted for Fall 2010 semester. I have to say, though, that I DO NOT want the next 4 months to fly. I am excited about starting but I also know that is the end of any freedom! :eek:
