Its so hard...

Its so hard to watch your best friends pass NCLEX when you failed....its humiliatiing. Its not like I would EVER in a million years want anyone to fail, but it just makes me feel even more like an idiot when they pass. I am so happy for everyone who passes NCLEX please don't get me wrong...im jealous! I am just still trying to regroup and figure out how to pick up and start all over again. 45 days seems like an eternity until I can retest. Why did this have to happen to me...I feel as if I have let everyone in my family and my employer down. I am so scared to fail again. Maybe what I REALLY need is some PRN Xanax...haha just kidding! Anyways, just looking for any advice I can get at this point. Everyone here is always so helpful.

I am more than willing to help you pass the exam, however, there is no way that you will be ready in just 45 days.

Your decision, but the first tip of my program is at the top of this forum.

Best of luck to you on your quest. You can get thru this exam.

Oscar265, please don't beat yourself up!! Many a great nurse did not pass NCLEX the first time, as well as many who were at the top of their class. Take some time to relax and refocus. Hopefully your work is as supportive as my job. I know my job offers remediation and support to those who do not pass, they do everything they can to help them reach their goal. We even had someone who did not pass speak to us (as new grads). Take Suzanne4 up on her offer, I have heard many positive things about her program!!! WE ARE HERE TO SUPPORT YOU. You can do this!!!

Thank you suzanne, unfortunately I have a internship that is waiting on me and I have already set them back 45 days. There is a signed contract involved and they are working with me the best they can. I will definately take in to consideration your plan and maybe decide to do whats best for me to pass this exam (which probably will be the smart thing to do!) However, I really believe that the main issue is overcoming my test anxiety....which I do realize will come with confidence which will come from studying hard. Thanks for your concern and support and I will continue to accept any advice you may have to offer.

I know how you feel, although, I am still waiting for the results I can only imagine what would it be like if I failed. 2 of my classmates failed, one at 79 questions and the other at 265( hey at least if I failed it was 75 questins only!). I want to be positive, but it is hard to think you passed at 75, and the only thing you remember is all the questions you think you got wrong.

You are not alone, many of us are or will be there and it is hard but think that there is always someone in a worse situation and someone in a better situation.

I thought about not telling anyone about my Nclex date, but there is not point, you have to come out to the light, but the thing is, like you, there are thousand more that went thru the same.
