How long did you do it? It makes make feel better that there is someone else out there that" doesn't love it" .

November 1 will be 5 years. I work until then.

There is nothing wrong with thinking you might really like a job and then working in it awhile before deciding it isn't for you.

I love the kids.

Not the paperwork (aka bureaucracy).

The worst is wishy-washy administrators who don't seem to understand the "excluded after 10 days" rule. Wonderful.

They don't have to. They aren't nurses. CYA!

sippee, I think a lot of us are in the same boat, hence the complaining threads, yes? I love the kids. I miss them.

I was doing sports clearances today and the 7th graders were being shown round by the 8th graders and I heard, "That's the Nurse' Office- she is so COOL, and she has CANDY!"

I peeked out and there was so and so who had a broken ankle last year, beaming at me.

So, yea, that part is great.

I may not last. I like my HH job, too. In fact, there hasn't been much in nursing I have NOT liked.

I'm seeing more and more that I miss the floors, I miss the clinic. So, we shall see.
