Have you tried the search facility on this forum as I am sure I have seen some threads for Italy although may have been a while ago. Being part of the EU you may find it hard getting a work permit

It is not just fluent in speaking, but reading and writing as well before you will be permitted to sit for their licensure exam that is in Italian.

Also be aware that there is a hiring freeze going on there right now since they are part of the EU. Unless you have significant work experience in an area that they need, it will be quite difficult for you to get a visa that will permit you to live and work there.

It is not a point of being different, but the fact that you will have trouble getting a visa.

And there is much information that can be found under the equivalent of their nursing board, but it is all in Italian, and all communication with them is done in Italian.

You may wish to consider a country that will actually issue you a visa to work there legally. Going thru all of the training and not being able to get a visa does not make sense.

South Africa is hiring also right now, and they speak English there and will issue a visa. You may wish to check that out.
