I'm a nursing student who wants to travel the world

I am currently in my junior year and I want to travel the world as a nurse and help low resource areas. Do I have to get experience in a hospital in the US first and for how long? Whats everyone opinion on doing this, should I do it? I want to travel to Europe or literally anywhere I just want out of America.

When you say "help low resource areas" do you mean voluntary work in the developing world? For this yes, you will definitely need some post-reg experience first.

However, I'm rather confused that having said you want to "help low resource areas" you then say "Europe" !(😲)
