It finally hit me today (m)

I don't know why today other than the fact that I have been on the psych floor for the past three weeks and not on a regular floor, but it just hit me like a ton of bricks. I AM GOING TO BE AN RN IN A YEAR! One year from now I will be an RN and it just hit me today. I think what did it was seeing last years graduates working on the 3rd floor as staff RNs and knowing that one of the RNs took CNA with me! To make matters worse (better?) I got my Psych test score and I got a 90.5% on it which makes my cumulative score 89% (have to have 77%) so far. I am so excited. I just can't wait until May!! Anyway I will quit rambling now. Thanks for listening.

I know how you feel. I expect to graduate in May too and it's finally beginning to feel more real, like the light at the end of the tunnel. I did a summer internship in August where a student works with an RN every day for two weeks. The RN I worked with I already knew from school, she was a semester ahead of me and we had a few classes together. Weird feeling, here she was teaching working with me and she is already a practicing nurse. Experiences like these make it all gel, it's getting exciting!
