I would like to post what happened to me to let everyone know that you can be a rn with a positive background check. I'm with mbon, my background came back positive for a charge 9 years so I had get my documents and everything. Well to make a long story short, I sent in all my documents and was honest on my letter and received my license number the same day. Stay positive, be honest, and don't give up. We are all human and make mistakes.

Thank you for posting this! My life has changed completely in the past 8 years. I do have many misdemeanors and one petty theft and one felony of a possession of a controlled substance. I hope I can make it through like you, I am working so hard to get there. I would appreciate any advice you have. Congratulations!
