Squidney, most definitely file the appeal!! What do you have to lose? In the meantime, you will get the experience of filing an appeal and MAYBE, some others who have more say, may side for you!!

Good Luck...time is waning. Do keep us informed.

Agreed. You do have nothing to lose with the appeal. However, since they believe that things will likely not go your way, be prepared for the worst.

Best of luck!

Do you think it would help my case to show them my marks? I have straight As in all of my courses except for this course. Or would they think it's irrelevant how I did on my other courses?

Appeal. I agree with everyone and I am also seriously appalled your school teaches this way. Or switch nursing programs. I can't imagine this happening in my program. They work with us and they interview us 3 times before they accept us into the program. Maybe your school isn't as bad as I'm assuming but the whole "you're just a number" motto seems like it applies here. Best of luck. I would transfer elsewhere though.

Alas, every instructor has had students who get straight As in classroom stuff and can't find the right place to put a rectal thermometer, LOL. You have to demonstrate the skills too. In my first faculty job I taught learning lab and I never knew what the students' grades were in didactic. It's a losing argument; save your breath.

Yes! file an appeal immediately! because bp check offs is a silly thing to be failed on if you are doing so well otherwise. file the appeal and take it from there. also contact the student you tested on and ask them how they feel you did that day and if they noticed anything wrong.

Hi! The reason I brought my marks up was because I was able to speak with a student advisor and was told that good marks MIGHT (a big one) give me a fighting chance. I guess it wouldn't be that big of a help:(

Thanks for being honest! I appreciate that lol
