I'm terrified of these 2 types of questions...I've heard horror stories of people getting 20 or more of this type and I can't seem to figure it out. I know the obvious, LPN's can't do IV push and CNA's can't do anything nursing related, but the less obvious one's I'm having trouble with.
Any tips??
The LaCharity book rocks! :) Also, when reading the question, don't be fooled if it says something like "evaluate patient's response to medication". LPNs CAN do that, because gathering data is within the scope of their practice. I kept getting those wrong in LaCharity until I got it through my head that evaluation of a response is *not* the same thing as an assessment. I haven't taken my NCLEX yet, but the LaCharity book is tough, just like I need it to be! :)
