Is there a trick to finding Popliteal pulses?

I am pretty good at finding pulses but...I cant EVER seem to find the popiteal pulses! Anyone have or know of a trick to finding them? Midline, Posterior, Interior ETC!

Remember that everyone's anatomy is slightly different.

Sometimes they're hard to palpate...most floors have access to a doppler, if needed.
