Have you seen/or know any travel nurses 50 and on up? Your spouses can tag along?
Lord, I wish I were 50 again! I started traveling a year and a half ago at "over 60," and I'm having a ball. I've noticed that everywhere I go travelers are pretty much the same...either young, single, and exploring the country, or on my end of the spectrum, either single or with retired husbands. In my case, the kids grew up and the dog died. But 50 is definitely not too old.

LOL Abrrn!
Its the whining that gets to me as well! The 20 plusers really dont have a clue. Everyonce in a while Ill tell them about things like chest tube bottles taped to the floor and give them all a good laugh but they get the point I am trying to make. NOW is the time to be a nurse! I wuldnt trade my experiences for the world!
Glad this got bumped up....I'm only in my second semester of an ASN program, but my eventual goal is to travel once I get my time in somewhere (I'm 51)...I thought perhaps I'd work on my BSN while I was getting that invaluable "experience" and then I'm ready to jet -- without the hubby!! ;-) He's too expensive to bring along and he has bills to pay!!
