Story from Indianapolis Star says The College Network is going "dormant" and is accused of illegally moving assets to two new companies, Global Learn of Las Vegas and CLASS of Fishers, Ind.
Here's the link to the IndyStar story:
Is Global Learn a 'scheme' for ailing Indy business to evade lawsuits, obligations?

This company contacted me stating that they work with Excelsoir College for the transition program. Their fees are about $7000.00 with guaranteed financing. They also informed me that the testing will be $345.00 per test and once you get to the Nursing part of the program, you have a fee of $4800 that goes to Excelsoir. Has anyone had success using them to get you to the LPN - ADN program? Please advise.

There are a bunch of old threads here about TCN. Use the "search" feature to look them up. Don't fall for their sales pitch, and don't throw your money away. I've heard people say that their study materials aren't that helpful, but, if you really want them, you can buy them on eBay for a fraction of what TCN will charge you.

Call excelsior directly. Clever wording but not affiliated or endorsed

Don't fall for their crap! Global Learn was started by a trust with a registered agent that is an attorney of Gary Eyler (owner of The College Network). I got sucked into TCN and now owe Southeast Financial Credit Union over $5000 and am not getting the services I paid for in return. Their content (composed of Comprehensive Learning Modules of CLMs) is anemic and can be bought online elsewhere from other unhappy customers for a fraction of the price. Even more importantly, they encourage students to finance the testing. TCN got my testing fees paid to them up front from Southeast Financial and have stopped paying them back to me as I complete courses. I'm going on about one year since I requested my last $300 check (the Excelsior exams used to be $300...now they are more) and don't expect it...ever. Overall TCN owes me around $2000 in exam fees that I'll likely never collect. Southeast Financial has a convoluted agreement with TCN where TCN is supposed to reimburse the credit union if the "student" ultimately fails to pay. However, it looks like out of these defaults TCN owes the credit union millions. In an earlier article, the CEO of Southeast Financial stated that TCN is basically worthless (in terms of valuation) because it sold its only asset (the web portal that houses the web-based CLMs, etc) to two other companies....
One of those companies is Global Learn.

Please listen to the voice of experience. Another company, pitching another product, was similarly forced out of business They used to have numerous TV ads. Was wondering why I wasn't seeing the ads on TV any longer, when up pops an ad that sounded very familiar. I did some searching around the internet and lo and behold, one of the same prominent names pops up! A rose by any other name! Reinvention after being forced out of business is a standard ploy. There are always new victims to be fleeced.
