Of all things....I have one of our security guards right now as a pt!! Think I should dole out the demerol for his kidney stone in proportion to how much security he provides? hahahaha
If nursing were performed strictly according to how each person performed in life.....there would be a lot of security guards with inadequet(sp) pain control and poor care........but then there would be a lot of other folks in that same boat and then where would that leave the nurse when he/she got sick?? Sometimes it just does not seem fair that we treat everybody with respect and provide quality care across the board and there are folks out there that are supposed to be looking out for our well being while on the job and we get squat! :angryfire
I am always happy to oblige
Tom, I refuse to set my self up with any other answer than: Thank you for living up to such standards :chuckle
Native......We will put you in for the sainthood for taking the road less traveled and trying to kill the security guard with kindness..... :rotfl:
I believe there is a biblical passage (no offense to anyone) that states "you shall reap coals of kindness on their heads" meaning kill them with kindness......hehehehehehehehehe! I guess there is something to be said for "killing them softly".....at least it's legal, right??
