For some reason I don't think you could. I remember asking my CNA instructor this. I think she said you could only work the higher of one. And you can't go down either. So I don't think you could work as both at the same time. And if you were an RN, you can't go down to work as a CNA. If you did you would loose your license. I would like to know too.
Say i worked as a CNA during college to get an associates degree in RN, and i wanted to work as both of these after i finish school. I mean i would work part time as a CNA and full time as a RN. Is this smart are stupid would i make more money just working as RN? Would it be extremely time consuming? And also would i have much time for my son? And say in about a year or so i wanted to go back to school also? Does any of this seems doable or stupid?
After you receive your degree as an RN , you could not work as a CNA, for 2 reasons I can think of 1. no one would pay or hire an RN as a CNA
2. working as a cna you would still be held to the same liability as an RN
