Is the 3rd edition of saunders still good now that its a 4th edition?

Wasn't aware they have bought out a PN 4th Edition.

As far as I am aware there is a 3rd edition for PN which is current and 4th is for RN

I was just going to ask this - I am starting to study for my RN boards & I have the 3rd edition of Saunders nclex-RN & just noticed they have a 4th edition out. Does anyone think it matters that I study of the 3rd??

The 4th edition will cover new format style questions plus will have made revisions. Also more questions I believe on the CD. I personally would go with whatever was the latest edition to give the best chance on passing

If one has the older edition and can't afford the latest, they should check the website, if one is available, to see if any corrections to info in the third edition have been put out. Otherwise, I seriously doubt that any gross changes to content data would have taken place. If serious changes have taken place, there would be publicity and they would be explained on the website.
