First of all..what country do you live? Its because i dont think the US embassy will grant you a visa just to take a test because it is not a solid reason for the immigration officer to believe them that you are coming back to the country you came from and aside from that there are some countries that you can take your test like Philippines, Hongkong to name a few...I hope gave you enough information..Goodluck!
The US government no longer grants a visa for the sole purpose of writing the NCLEX exam since it is available all over the world and on almost every continent. The exam is actually available right in your country, so definitely no reason to come to the US to write the exam.
It is also much harder to get a tourist visa in general from your country to visit the US as well.

Hi everyone.. please help me on this one. I am about to take my NCLEX exams this Jan and I am planning to take the exams in US. I just would like to know what are the possibilities of this option and what documents or process do i need to do for me to be able to take the exams there?
I only have my passport but no visa yet.. I'm wondering if there is a great chance for me to get a US visa or to pass the embassy's interview and my only reason is to take the exams abroad? Do you think the US embassy will grant me a visa and consider my reason? please share your comments and views on this one guys...thanks!
