Is it possible to learn 3 chapters in one day?

Published

I have an A&P exam coming up, and I was wondering if it's possible to learn enough material to pass the class in about a day? I've tried studied throughout the week but I realized I still haven't "learned" anything except for labeling parts, but everything else is just ehhh. Today, I'm just going to sit down and just study all day.

Also, how many hours did you guys study a day when you took A&P? What did your study routine consist of?

Cramming is actually more detrimental to your ability to retain information, and isn't really an l effective study technique. I studied steadily 1-2 hours a day throughout the week and that was sufficient enough to get a 98 in the class.

Well, it is possible, but you're depriving yourself of an education by cramming the material in one day. The point of A&P is to provide a basic foundation of the body's functioning, which will be critical in your nursing classes.

You will find yourself struggling in your nursing courses if you don't retain the information you learned in your A&P courses.

I would study a few hrs a day for A&P. It really depended on the content. Some concepts I grasped quickly, while I had to spend more time and effort on other concepts.

I realize that we all need to take work breaks and that this site is a wonderful resource (and distraction.)

If you are concerned about not having enough time to prepare for an important exam, posting questions that strangers can't possible answer about your personal situation is probably not the best use of that time.

Good luck on your test.

Not to be rude, but regardless of what propel on here say, you still have to take your exam! 😉 so go hit the books! 👍
