Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hey friends,

I wanted your insight on if it is possilbe to get in to nursing school such as madonna, udm or other schools in michgian?

I wanted to know from people who have already gotten in madonna or udm, their insight will be reallly appreciated.

I am at WSU doing pre nursing courses. I had a really rough year and I got C- in A n P and Micro. Although I retook Micro, and got an A. Now I have to retake A n P. All my other nursing courses have As and Bs? I am really worried that are there any nursing schools out there that will accept me with two retakes. I was really hoping to get into madonna university or University of Detroit Mercy because that is what's closer to my house.

Any insight on what should be my next step, or what should I do in my current situation will be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I am a former Michigander so I know of the schools you mentioned. Unfortunately, I can't help with your question because it's been so long since I had contact with individuals in your situation. I think what would work best is if we move this to the Michigan Forum.

You'll want to check out the schools' repeat policies. I have some repeats, and it was fine, but it also excluded me from applying to some schools. Do your research.

Have you contacted the schools? That is the only way you will know if you are eligible to apply or meet requirements to apply. Any school you want to attend you need to contact and find out requirements. If someone on here tells you yes or no it means nothing because the SCHOOL will decide based on your accomplishments.
