Is 22 points good enough 4 Weatherford College

Published

I wanted to see how I compare with all the other applicants, I have 22 points. How many do you have?

6:yeah:

Has anyone called to see what day the letters are going out?

Nope, I am trying to keep myself occupied by making two birthday cakes for this weekend and doctor apts. for the youngins! I am not sure I have time to dial a phone for type these letters, but when has that ever stopped me. LOL

When I turned my application she said it would be the end of the March, I am just taking her at her word.

calling all mothers!!! please help. i have two year old twins who attend day care. one of my daughters came home with scratches on her face and neck. i asked and no one at the day care saw what happened!!!! when i asked her who scratched her she told me. the child that did it has behavior problems and he needs to be suspended. at this point i'm going to talk to the director, and if she does not do something about this child i am pulling my daughters out.

i want to be able to send my girls to daycare without worrying about them being hit and scratched by the other kids.

my question to you is where does your child go to day care???? do you like the daycare? do you feel like your child is learning something??

thank you.

I called and KL said letters would "most-likely" go out Fri Apr 2

((i didn't ask how points were looking))

I am not real sure about daycare but I use a lady in town who keeps kids out of her home. I live pretty far from town so daycare isnt really an option. Sorry to hear about your daughter. I will keep an ear out for good daycares in the area.

Just saw this post......the are not going to send letters out for another week now?????:banghead:

Thanks could you pm me her info, I would prefer a home daycare vs a center.

Well I guess with the letters going out on April 2, I will readjust the countdown. 7 more days.:uhoh3:

I am not sure how to PM so if you tell me I will let you know or you could email me at [email protected].

So, what are yall's plans if not accepted this time around? I'm having a hard time deciding whether to wait it out one more semester or go ahead and get started on plan B.....either psychology, social work, or most likely, child development. If I don't become a nurse, I hope to open a really awesome daycare one of these days.

I applied to UTA's AP program, so if I don't get in at WC I will go there. (Hopefully) My plan is to go to WC Lvn program and then bridge over. I don't have a back up plan to nursing. Just ways to obtain my degree.

WC's LVN program is my back up if I don't get into UTA-AP program
