I have been out of school for 1 year and 8 months. I failed the nclex twice and I am now finally getting over my depression and I am ready to take it again. I scheduled my test for January 30th. I know I can reschedule if I'm not ready but I scheduled it because if I don't have a date I know I won't buckle down and study. Is one month enough time to prepare? If so how many hours a day should I study?

oh yes. you have enough time. i would say 5-10 a day. but take frequent breaks like every half hour and only do it 5-6 days a week max. you need a rest day

1 month is not enough especially u took a long break in ur studying. I prefer to maximize ur Att schedule and not to rush. Do 100-150 questions per day and 1-3 body system chapter per day. Goodluck! :)
The first time it took me a couple of months to get my att after I graduated when I did get my att I scheduled and forgot about it and never studied. I went to reschedule but was told I called 20 minutes too late and that it had to be a whole 24hrs to reschedule so I had to pay another $200 to reschedule or I could come in and give it a shot. I chose to give it a shot even though I knew I was not prepared. The second time I gave myself 2 weeks but only studied about an hour a day. After I took my test I realized that was just not enough time to study. I have been depressed and nervous to retake it but now I feel ready to jump back into studying and take it again
Your studying routine for 1 hour a day is not good to pass nclex. it not an easy exam like what u seen in the school better take this exam as serious and more time to prepare. This is ur license not ur grade :)
base from my experience i studied for 2-3 mos focusing on what is important in exam especially management questions which is big percentage on nclex rn, as a result i passed my board first try.
