  1. And I agree with u but the comments telling this girl that obviously she shouldn't be a nurse is rude. She's looking for help/advice and people are being mean to her. Tell her she should take a review course but don't tell her to give up and that she shouldn't be a nurse. If u weren't one to tell her that then my comment was not towards you
  2. I'm calling the people who made rude comments rude!
  3. I'm not saying EVERYONE who commented was being rude. MOST of the comments are indeed rude. It doesn't even mean she needs more education. Maybe she's just not good at taking test. A lot of you need help!!!
  4. I agree with a remediation too but if you were one being rude then it's just that...you're rude!
  5. A lot of people commenting are just ignorant and out right rude!!! Being compassionate is a part of nursing and some of you just dont have it. You are the ones that shouldnt have received a license simply because you passed some test!! What i think they need to do is provide other test to see what type of person you are before they grant you your license. I promise half of you wouldn't be a nurse today!
  6. Your comment as well as others are rude. This person is breaking down and looking for encouragement to keep going. You people are telling her to give up hope. Who are you???? Just because a person doesn't pass a test does not make you are dumb or incompetent. It can simply mean you're not great at test taking! Personal experience I've seen the top students fail nclex while the students that didn't do so hot in school passed first try. Smh
  7. Know your weak areas. What works for one person won't necessarily work for you. For the nclex it is not all about knowing the content ( but u MUST know it) it is also about knowing how to answer the questions. The questions on the nclex is not quite like what u did in nursing school. I would suggest getting the kaplan strategies book but with that being said understand that the kaplan decision tree does not work for every question so don't heavily rely on that it can mess you up. Find a great content book that is easy for you to understand and not so boring for you to read. I find that books that are too bland tend to make you lose focus then later u will not remember anything u read. Again...remember what study material that was great for someone else doesn't mean it will be great for you. Good luck on passing the NCLEX!!😊
  8. When you do the trick it will take everyone to the credit card page whether they pass or fail but when you click the submit button to submit your payment if you passed it will say u cannot schedule an exam at this time, if you failed it will take your payment
  9. The first time it took me a couple of months to get my att after I graduated when I did get my att I scheduled and forgot about it and never studied. I went to reschedule but was told I called 20 minutes too late and that it had to be a whole 24hrs to reschedule so I had to pay another $200 to reschedule or I could come in and give it a shot. I chose to give it a shot even though I knew I was not prepared. The second time I gave myself 2 weeks but only studied about an hour a day. After I took my test I realized that was just not enough time to study. I have been depressed and nervous to retake it but now I feel ready to jump back into studying and take it again
  10. I have been out of school for 1 year and 8 months. I failed the nclex twice and I am now finally getting over my depression and I am ready to take it again. I scheduled my test for January 30th. I know I can reschedule if I'm not ready but I scheduled it because if I don't have a date I know I won't buckle down and study. Is one month enough time to prepare? If so how many hours a day should I study?
  11. This reply was a little harsh
