I have only done Algebra 1, and not Geometry. Is geometry required to take Algebra 2 in college, and is Algebra 2 hard. What about geometry

I know a lot of people who think algebra is easy but have a had time in geometry (one of those ppl is me) and others who struggle with algebra but fly through geometry. It also depends on your professor and how much time you're willing to put in to it.

There are some nursing programs that require intermediate algebra but none that I've come across require geometry. Geometry is not a prerequisite to intermediate algebra.

No geometry required here.
I took Algebre II last spring and it was hard for me. It took me a while to get used to the calculator for graphing. Once I felt more comfortable with that, it was easier. I studied a lot and did a lot of the problems in the chapters even when they weren't assigned. My teacher gave great handouts and explained things clearly. She also made herself available before and after class for students who needed extra help. I got 100% on the final, but I spent many, many hours studying.

My BSN program requires Intermediate Algebra. I hate algebra. I'm not bad at it, I just hate it.
