While I enjoyed the Online Hurst Review, it was NOT enough for me to pass my first attempt!!!!!
I studied like they said to, but it was Not enough!!!!!!!!!!!So, that being said, I would say NO, it's NOT worth it!!!!!! Since you have tried Kaplan, perhaps, you can try Sylvia Rayfield.. I am trying Kaplan at present, and may do the Sylvia Rayfield's also.. Best wishes!
They obviously didn't have the form I had!!!!!!! I opted for a refund instead of the remediation program!!!!!!!!!!! I felt like the review wasn't good enough for 300.00 dollars why should I pay 225. for their remediation???? They can keep 75. and give me my 225. back! Which by the way, I am still waiting on!!!!! Their Customer Service is lousy!!!!!!!!! See for yourself if you like!! But, what ever works for you!

Hello 4pancakes: I am sorry about your troubles with Hurst. I, myself took , took Kaplan and did not like it, but then I did not give my all with the program. To each their on, as you stated. With any reviews, I think it is a all duplicated and how much work one puts into the study. I wish I would have went at it on my own for my first test instead of taking an expensive review course. Kaplan did not refund any of my money!
Hi Lindsey 22208
I've taken nclex prior and though I did not pass on this last attempt; With Hurst review it is closest yet with multiple above passing categories. Thus I'd recommend be it. I took live review vs on-line. They have sent remediation program cost was included in my original program fee. Looking to retest sometime in upcoming year. Have my ATT no date set since have not focused on remediation as of yet which takes little under 2 months. RN Bound
Pedsnurze,
Have you ever wondered why they(Hurst) don't send you the remediation packet from the beginning? If it really was included in the original cost, shouldn't they send it with the course book? Instead they give you an ultimatum. You have to choose to get your money back or choose to get the remediation materials. Now if it was included they would send it no matter what, and still give the option of a refund!!!!!!!!! But, they don't, do they?!! Close but not close enough, is not good enough for passing! So, again, It's not worth it!!!!!! Save your money and look else where!!!!!!!
Not sure why I'd require remediation had I been successful initially.
Still. for me I was helped tremendously by the live lecture unfortunately, I was not successful on my exam.
In God's due time I will be successful. Of course, along with my hard work.
Hoping you are successful in all your future endeavors.
Pedsnurze,
The remediation packet should be included with the course packet as part of your initial review...Perhaps, if it was you and I both would have been successful our first attempt! Nevertheless, I am sure that we will be next time. Because, like you said, in God due time, we shall be successful! Best wishes!

So I am retaking my NCLEX-RN sometime in January or Febraury....I took Kaplan before I graduated and it was a waste of time, the teacher was terrible, and it didnt help me at all! I am looking into the Hurst Review BUT there are no live sessions available for me within like 1000 miles of where I live so my only option is the online review and I was wondering if anyone has done it and thinks it is worth it????
