Being a nurse has always intrigued me but never enough to pursue a career as one. However, I'm now at a point in my life where I want to do something meaningful, but I also need to be able to provide for my family (I'm a single mom and I have to work full-time so I don't think I will be able to pursue nursing). As I read the posts I see that most statements refer to a paycheck that allows for a middle class lifestyle. Unless you're an RN or PN, the pay for an LPN is far from lucrative, at least in Wisconsin. So is everyone on this forum an RN or PN?
Thank you in advance for your replies.

Majority are nurses LPN or RN but we also have people who are interested in becoming a nurse, patients who join in and give their perspective, we have family members who join in because they want to support their family member as well as student nurses
