Wow, what ER do you work in???
Don't get me wrong, I love my own personal ER, and co workers. Don't know I would say it's "all" good, especially scheduling.

ER is the one department where I work that you're hired into a schedule, so you know what you'll be working all year long....I'm not sure how this works when vacation time is needed, but I must say I'm a bit jealous of their consistency!

ER is great for traveling.
YOU choose your location...
YOU choose what shift...
YOU choose what days...
YOU choose your time off...
Everything is negotiable. The world is your oyster.

Really? But I don't understand. Where is that practiced? I'm from the Philippines. I haven't heard of it. Please tell me more about this. I am about to start my career as an ER nurse here. Thanks a lot!
Indian Health Services in South Dakota & AZ are looking for ER travelers right now. The nice thing about them is they will honor ANY state license. The bad thing is they are in remote locations and often short-staffed.
Like any other travel job-- You cant be some "geek off the street." Youve got to know your stuff and be ready for anything that comes through the door.. Especially when youre working out in the middle of nowhere!
