Is board ordered discipline always public?

Published

Hi ya’ll. I’m just trying to find out if board ordered discipline is always public. I will get a board order next month and I’m not already in a monitoring program . Any info? Thanks!

Yes, I believe so. A monitoring program is typically the only way to keep disciplinary action private (only available in some states).

I believe it is public, whereas monitoring is not. At least in my state (TX), that is the way it is

Gotcha. I figure I will be ordered to do monitoring, but this way I bet it’s public

I don't think you have to worry about that. I think they will keep you case non-public based on what you said. Its gonna be okay!
