So I was in my A&PII lab today, and a girl told me that she heard that "a lot of people drop out" of the Accelerated BSN program that I'm interested in. I guess as long as I become a nurse, I'm a nurse...I shouldn't worry so much about the grades. However, I'm still concerned that maybe I won't be able to pull it off. I went to law school for a year, and that didn't work out for a variety of reasons. I'm afraid that I won't be able to handle this either. I know I shouldn't be giving myself those messages....and going into this program is still at least another year away....but I'm still freaking out right about now. Am I just wasting my time taking these pre reqs.? Some info. on Accelerated programs would be much appreciated.

I haven't started my program yet - won't until January - but it's my understanding that a lot of people drop out of all nursing programs, not just the accelerated programs. Just sayin'.
