Hi all! I'm a junior at The University of Denver - molecular bio major. I'm looking at applying to the local Regis University Jan of 2007 to start their 1 year Accelerated BSN program in Jan of 2008. A friend of a friend graduated from Regis a year or two ago with a 4 year nursing degree (no prior college). She told me that "accelerated is hell!" but this apparently comes from a girl who took 5 years to complete her 4 year degree. Should I be freaking out?

Hi there! I did not graduate from the Regis Accelerated Program but I did finish the Binghamton University 12 month program in August. It is very, very busy but very doable if you don't work and devote yourself fulltime to school.
Good luck.

I am doing a 16 month program, and I just had to cut back on my work hours. I am now working about 14-16 hours a week (instead of 20). If you can get by without working, I highly recommend it because you will be much less stressed. The material is not conceptually difficult, but the volume is what will get you if you don't keep up. Good luck and keep us posted!

I saw you went through the BAT program at Decker, and well...I am going this May for it as well.
Sooooo...I was wondering if you could be so kind to help me figure out some things and answer some questions, etc...let me know and I will get back to you :) Maybe you could send me a PM?
