IRSC Spring 2017 Applicants

Published

Hey everyone,

I plan on applying to IRSC's Nursing program for Spring 2017, and thought I would create this thread for us to talk about the application process! I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to study for the NLN? I keep seeing that they're updating the exam on IRSC's website, so I'm not sure if I should use the current study materials? Also has anyone had troubles figuring out transfer credits? I will have a BS from FSU and the courses that I've taken for A&P and Microbio have different course codes than the ones IRSC offers.

Good luck to everyone who plans on applying! Hopefully this thread can be as helpful as the last few semesters' threads have been.

Hey guys :), I took my test on the 9th and my total score is a 161. I hope it's good enough

I took my test this morning and got a 143, and since I haven't taken micro yet my total score just includes anatomy so I'm going in with a final score of 159! I seem to be somewhat in the middle here so hopefully its high enough!

Hi Guys I'm new to the thread here but I'm so happy its here...NLN I got 130  and I had Anatomy and Micro for a totally of 150.. I see that everyone seems to have scored a lot higher on the NLN. Hopefully it will be enough. Does anyone know if they email you through the School email or the email you put on your application?? I don't really check my school email because I'm not currently in classes. Good luck to everyone out there

Took mine today. Got a 150 composite, so my total is 182. I think I read on past forums that they tell you through RiverMail @JessRobulock. Now it's just the waiting game!

congratsss!!! i know you were happy when you saw your score, you did awesomeee.

Hey everyone! Just took my NLN, composite score was 112. A little disappointed, everyone's scores seem pretty high. Keeping my fingers crossed :arghh:

Good job, What is your total score

total points with score is 133

I just took the NLN and scored a 106. Not very happy with that but I applied to both LPN and RN programs. Does anyone know how good the chances are of getting in either program are?

Yes. They require you to have your cpr/BLS certification before you start the program

Don't feel bad, I got a 106 😑

For the Lpn you must score a minimum of 100 to be considered. For the RN you must Score a minimum of 110. So your chances lies with the LPN program. In case you don't believe me check the IRSC website.
