IRSC Fall 2014 Hopefuls!

Hey everyone! I know this is super early to be talking about the fall semester but I just got my denial letter for the Spring 2014 semester so I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying or didn't make it in like me. I got a 109 score on my NLN exam which makes my total points for program 130. I took A&P I & Micro which accounts for my points. I would like to retake the NLN in 6 months & hopefully I can do much better. I'm currently enrolled in A&P II & plan on just studying my butt off for the nln in the process. Classes I have left before I'm done with all my "pre-requisites" are A&P II (which I'm currently in), Chemistry, and Nutrition. (which I plan on taking those in spring/summer). Maybe we can get a study group together eventually if anyone is interested! Best of luck to everyone! :)

Yay! School is finally tomorrow! A new chapter to a new beginning. Good luck everyone! So excited and terrified at the same time. :woot:

I don't know what they mean by Nightingale tutorial, I got the same website. I was able to click and download the different links, but not open them. I was able to do the practice questions though, so I did those? I don't know if that's what they meant by tutorial?

Sonny, I entered all three access codes too. I figured even though one of them said two year access, we will be finished with the program in May of 2016, giving us three months to spare! I haven't even tried putting them on a mobile device yet, just been reading it via laptop lol

I'm so excited for tomorrow!!! Those calendars they gave us in one of the meetings, does anyone know if that is our real schedule? I figured we would get more info on a more concrete schedule tomorrow.

For the Be learning styles result, do we download the 1 page, 5 page or 20 page result?

I am taking the calendar as a rough draft, but assuming no classes on Thursdays with test days on Fridays. No class this Friday either since there is no test?

Yeah I printed the whole thing. And I'm really hoping the schedule will stay the same for the most part, we happen to have no test the Friday my birthday falls on so that'd be nice haha

Is anyone else going to have to drive an hour to get to clinicals? I live right on the border of jensen & psl and I have to go all the way to vero !? Ugh

Yep you're not the only one I live in Palm city and have to go all the way to Okeechobee. I suppose we will be getting used to getting up early very quickly.

Okay I am really confused now. I am on the Okeechobee team and could swear that we are a blue team. I have just read the email from Miss Mason and it says Okeechobee is gold team? Anyone?

Hey can someone please help me. I just downloaded chrome google for my internet and I was wondering if someone could help me with finding where the module 1 & 2 are located in the web page. Please.

They reitterated that white and blue calendars were the blue team I believe. And it is in the same classes on the schedule. So it should be fine. As long as you find the correct classroom. and Mackenzie, the modules are not grouped together. when you go into the online text book, you need to look at the indivisual chapters. go to the products view and click on the taylor nursing fundamentals book and then go to digital textbook. Open it up and go through the tabs to find the different chapters in each mod

Reallllllllly not looking forward to having to wake up at 4am to get to clinicals at 6:30 in Okeechobee!!!! :(
