IRSC Fall 2014 Hopefuls!

Hey everyone! I know this is super early to be talking about the fall semester but I just got my denial letter for the Spring 2014 semester so I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying or didn't make it in like me. I got a 109 score on my NLN exam which makes my total points for program 130. I took A&P I & Micro which accounts for my points. I would like to retake the NLN in 6 months & hopefully I can do much better. I'm currently enrolled in A&P II & plan on just studying my butt off for the nln in the process. Classes I have left before I'm done with all my "pre-requisites" are A&P II (which I'm currently in), Chemistry, and Nutrition. (which I plan on taking those in spring/summer). Maybe we can get a study group together eventually if anyone is interested! Best of luck to everyone! :)

My friend who's last name starts with G got a denial letter

I am really confused now. I had an email with two attachments. One attachment telling me actuals have been notified and now they are determining alternates. No congratulations your an alternate or anything like that. Also told me about meeting on 4/18. The second attachment was a form for things to bring to meeting and such. So that is my notification that I am an alternate correct?

I would call IRSC and ask to be transferred to the nursing department and they can probably help you

I asked if letters were being sent out and the lady told me yes..they're being sent out in ABC order

She said if I have any concerns to email [email protected] with your name, student ID and any concerns

I think it's strange as well nobody got an acceptance letter, but everyone is getting alternate letters.

Annasmum, I got the same two letters. It says the accepted people have already been notified and now they are identifying alternatives.

Anyone know how many alternates they pick from previous semesters?
