Hello everyone! I know this is early to be talking about the fall semester 2015. I wanted to make this group for anyone that's applying for fall semester and those the are studying for NLN test. I have an A.A degree and have never take the NLN. So I am planning to make a study group so we can study to take the test before or in march 5 2015. I know when people study in groups stay more focus because we push each other or ask did you study this yet (motivation).I know IRSC will have free NLN study January to February 2015 but we can start NOW! :nurse: If you have any online study or book the help you with the NLN please share I have the NLN red book 3rd edition.Lets get together and study. Please let me know if you interested and have any idea how we can make this study group possible!Best of luck to everyone! :)

seems like we are all so busy these days!

Not going good for me. I haven't been very committed to studying like I should be. Anyone have any luck or studying strategies lately?

I feel the same way but time is running out so it's just a matter of forcing ourselves to study now!!

Has anyone else taken the NLN yet?

I'm a late arrival on this thread here, but I'm considering applying for ADN at IRSC for Fall, but I'm not sure I can even make it because I'm just now looking into it. NLN exam...oh god, no, I already took TEAS for another program and that kicked my butt in all kinds of places. Anyway, anyone know the cost for taking the NLN? Thanks!

its $75.00 I believe.

It's $30 to apply for the program and then $75 to take the NLN.

Deadline will be here before you know it. Time is literally flying!

Don't remind me

There is still so much I have to study!

Hi All!

I'm new to the forum. But, I've also applied for Fall admission to IRSC. Just saying hello and Hoping we all get accepted. Good Luck! ;)

Can everyone (if your comfortable with it) post their NLN scores & total scores points once they apply & done taking test? I'm interested to see what my chances look like. Thank you!! & Good luck everyone!

(cause when I applied last time - I got a 109 on NLN & majority were getting 130's & above so I knew I wasn't going to make it before I got my denial letter)

I did the NLN on Monday and my score was 164. My A&P, MB score is 32. So combined I'm at 196. However, considering I've already done 1.5 years of medical school in my origin country, and I already have Bachelor degrees in Bio/Chem, as well as a Masters degree. I don't think I am the average student applying for this program.

That being said, I've also applied to another nursing program since October 2014. Although the other school is offering a BSN, they have a lot more hoops and hurdles in their admissions process, which is as transparent as mud. At this point, I'm just going to go wherever I'm accepted first. This is a midlife career change for me and I'm really just interested in getting the RN license and some practical experience as fast as possible so I can apply for a MSN program in a few years.

WOW, that's awesome!! You can say you've been accepted at IRSC already because that is a REALLY high score! I would be happy if I could at least get a 130 on the NLN.
