Hello, I am interested in apply to the fall 2017 nursing program at IRSC. I figured I would start this so we all can discuss any of each other's questions. This is my second time applying last application period I had a total score of 136. I am feeling confident with the new gpa requirements and all the studying I have done so far that I will be accepted this time. For those of you who have taken the NLN before.. what do you feel helped you the most studying?
Good luck everyone!!
I heard the same thing from previous irsc students, 160+ total score is in a very good place. I didn't hear about them lowering the accepted number though so hopefully everyone makes it in!! Just a couple more weeks to find out!
Hi JeffreyJ30,
Thanks for the input. I may have to re apply next semester then

I wouldn't worry too much, the people in the computer lab during my nln were saying that there were a lot of no shows plus they bumped up the gpa for non lpns to 3.0 right? so I don't think the competition is too stiff this year. Stay positive!! :)
Hello everyone! I am a fall 2017 nursing hopeful as well. My first time taking the NLN was May 10th (this semester). Scored a 130 with 27 additional points from the other classes. My total score is 157. Worried sick. Right in that place where I don't have above a 160 and can feel confident. I am quitting my job this week in expectation of getting in! Everyone has scored so well! I hope to meet you all in class this fall. #PRAYERS
