Published

Hello, I am interested in apply to the fall 2017 nursing program at IRSC. I figured I would start this so we all can discuss any of each other's questions. This is my second time applying last application period I had a total score of 136. I am feeling confident with the new gpa requirements and all the studying I have done so far that I will be accepted this time. For those of you who have taken the NLN before.. what do you feel helped you the most studying?

Good luck everyone!!

Still hopeful! See you next week!

Got in too! So excited!!!

Aliciatags...not sure about likelihood. I do have a friend who had the same score as you (prior year) and she said all alternates got into the program!

Thank you for the feedback! I am still hopeful :) Congrats to your u all!!

Just found out I got accepted as an alternate. Very Nervous.

Congratulations on being selected as an alternate!!

Hi there, I am going to apply for the Spring 2018 program. Can someone tell me what all the extra points are you are talking about? I only know of extra for Micro and A&P. Thank You!!

j112968 ~ the points referred to are for Micro and A&P 1

Yes. It includes the above stated and the NLN score. For example, my NLN was 151. I got 31 points from the classes (minus 1 because I got a B in A&P lab). My score was 182 out of 200

Ok. The points are for each credit hour and not the class? I didn't understand that. I thought for an A in lecture it was just 4. But it is actually 12. That's great. Thanks so much!!

Exactly :)

No problem! If you have any other questions we're all more than happy to help in any way we can
